My story

For almost 8 months, Chase has been passed from one shelter to the next — not because he’s done anything wrong, but simply because no one has chosen him yet.Chase is a 3-year-old black Lab full of energy, love, and loyalty. He was taken in by animal control from another county on January 16th, transferred to another shelter on June 18th, and now, on August 12th, he’s come to us — still waiting. Still hoping.And through it all, he’s stayed the same sweet, silly, lovable boy.Chase doesn’t fit into every home. He’s a Lab — with a strong prey drive — so homes with small animals aren’t the right fit. And his big heart sometimes comes with big zoomies, so he could easily knock over smaller kids just trying to say hi.But he’s not broken. He’s not “too much.”He’s just a dog who hasn’t had someone fight for him yet.Chase is neutered, up to date on all medical care, and ready to go home today. He’s done his part. Now he just needs someone to do theirs.Please don’t let him keep being overlooked. Come meet Chase — and maybe, help write the ending he deserves
