My story

Uncle is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find his new family soon! To help, his adoption fee has been partially sponsored by generous donors!Meet Uncle, the perfect mix of affectionate and independent! He loves catnip, his scratching post, and would be thrilled to have safe outdoor access-like a catio-for lounging in the sunshine.This resilient boy recently had his right hind leg splinted after a fracture. Similar to people, healing takes 6-8 weeks, and his three-week X-rays show great progress-no more splint needed! To keep him feeling his best, his new family should help with gentle physiotherapy, weight management, and controlled exercise. Some occasional lameness is normal during healing, especially after lots of play or long naps.Our adoptions team would be happy to discuss ongoing management and share resources to help him continue his recovery.
