My story
Hello I’m Dixie! I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Alabama I was moments away from the end of my story, trembling in a small kennel, when a kind voice promised me a second chance. My leash slipped through their fingers, and my little heart knew I was safe. I'm a mixed breed small in size but with a whole lot of love to give. My tail wags slowly, but my spirit is high. I'm a gentle soul, and my caretakers say I have a "mellow" personality. I love my walks, but I never pull on my leash. I'm also great with other dogs. I get along with everyone. But what I love most is curling up in a warm lap. I can be a loyal companion and the sweetest cuddle buddy. All I need is a loving home where I can finally let my guard down and be a dog In a loving home are you ready to make my dreams come true?
