My story

Edgar is a sweet, senior gentleman who has already been through more than most cats should. He was found alone on the side of the road, and sadly, no one came forward to claim him. Despite his rough start, Edgar is incredibly affectionate and loves to be petted—he’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give.At around 14 years old, Edgar is looking for a calm, quiet home where he can enjoy the peaceful life he deserves. He’s currently underweight, likely due to fending for himself for an unknown amount of time, so he’ll need some TLC (and tasty meals!) to help him get back to a healthy weight.We don’t know if Edgar has lived with other cats or dogs, so slow, careful introductions are a must if you have existing pets. Because of his age and gentle nature, we recommend a home with children aged 10 and up who understand how to be respectful and gentle with older animals.Edgar’s ideal home is one filled with kindness, soft beds, cozy windowsills, and loving companionship. If you’re looking to make a meaningful difference in a senior cat’s life, Edgar might just be the perfect companion for you.
