Jack is a curious, cuddly, and bright-eyed pup with the soul of a comedian and the ears of a cartoon character! This sweet boy had a bit of a rough start after breaking his rear leg in July, but he's now fully healed and ready to leap into his next adventure — preferably one filled with toys, treats, and people to love.Jack’s favorite things? Being where the action is, pouncing at your toes, showing off his collection of squeaky toys, and melting into your arms like a baby when he’s picked up (his little "doggy paddle" kicks are irresistible). His foster family says he’s one of the sweetest, snuggliest pups they’ve met — and incredibly smart, especially when treats are involved.Due to an early injury, Jack spent a bit more time in a crate than most pups his age, so he’s still catching up on house training and learning some social boundaries. But with structure, love, and consistent time outside the crate, he’s already blossoming into a confident and affectionate little guy. He’s not the best fit for an apartment or townhouse since he can be quite vocal when left alone, but he’d thrive in a home where someone is around often or he has a dog friend to help keep him company. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, cuddle up close, and keep you on your toes in the best way, Jack just might be your guy.If you are interested in Jack, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jack, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
