Meet Dorothy – A Gentle Pup with a Heart Full of Potential This is Dorothy, a shy but incredibly sweet young pup who’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. She’s the daughter of Deogee, one of our beloved rescue dogs, and she shares her mama’s gentle spirit and kind eyes. Dorothy may hang back at first, observing quietly from a safe distance, but give her time and a soft voice, and you’ll start to see her gentle tail wags and curious little steps forward. She’s incredibly sweet-natured and has a tender way about her—never pushy, always polite. She would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in slowly and build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Dorothy will show you just how affectionate and loving she can be. She’s young and has so much potential to grow into a loyal, loving companion with the right person by her side. The adoption fee is 350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
