My story

Meet Max—a playful, curious, and endlessly lovable mixed breed pup who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your socks). Max is full of puppy energy and charm, always up for an adventure or a good game of tug. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, discovering new toys, or flopping into your lap for a nap, Max brings joy wherever he goes. He’s still learning the basics—like potty training, polite manners, and how not to chew everything in sight—but he’s eager to learn and responds well to positive guidance. Max is the kind of pup who’ll grow into a loyal best friend with a little structure, a lot of love, and plenty of playtime. Sweet, silly, and full of potential, Max is looking for a home that will help him thrive. Could that be with you? The adoption fee is 450 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
