My story

Hi, I'm Violet the itty-bitty Pitty mix. I may be tiny (roughly 25 pounds) but I am for sure mighty for only being 9ish months old. I was a street dog from Texas, a real fighter, lived a rough life and have the scars to prove it. Oh, did I mention I am scared of the dark-literally? I am scared to go outside to potty when it is dark out and when I go to bed in my kennel I sleep under my raised bed. Now if you would let me sleep with you, I will bury myself under your blankets and snuggle up to you. My foster mom let me do that twice but she said I kicked her too much and that her sleep was more important-UGH!! Who knew humans needed more than 4 hours of sleep.   So here is the fun part-NOT!  I came here with worms, still have worms, being treated for the worms and hope we know soon if the worms are gone. But foster mom can tell you more about that. Not too much of a big deal!!   I am Mr. Morty's better half. I LOVE , LOVE HIM!! (more than he loves me I think). I would love to stay with him but I will adjust on my own. I LOVE toys and playing fetch and I play well with Mr. Morty BUT I have not been very nice to my foster siblings here at the ranch when they want to get in on the fun or chase a chicken. Life of a street dog, had to fight for everything. I think it would be best if I was your only dog (unless......Mr. Morty came too-hint, hint) because I deserve so much attention and love to help me heal from my traumatic beginnings.    And guess what, I am a huge motivator too if you are looking to get into shape. I love walks and love car rides- I am an excellent passenger. One more detail, I am working hard on the potty training thing- almost got it, especially if you have a doggy door.
