My story

Adoptable Frosted Flake is a handsome, soft-souled kitty who’s ready to find a calm and loving home where he can truly shine. At just 1 year old and 7 lbs, he has been described as shy at first, but with a polite introduction and a little time, his gentle, affectionate nature comes forward—especially when he’s offered tender pets and head scrubs. Much like his cereal namesake, Frosted Flake is a sweet boy who is sure to sprinkle your life with affection.Frosted Flake came to BARCS through no fault of his own, arriving with his kitty siblings who are also hoping to find loving homes. Right now, he’s living in Whisker City, one of the shelter’s free-roaming cat rooms. While the noisy shelter can sometimes feel like a lot for him, he’s already started making sweet connections and showing his gentle side. What he’s really dreaming of is a peaceful home where he can set the pace and let his personality blossom. With tidy litter habits, a love for tasty treats (he’s a bit of a flavor explorer!), and a growing trust in people, Frosted Flake is ready to bring warmth and affection to his future loving home.
