Meet Chucho — The Shy-At-First Zoomie King Chucho is a 1-year-old, 13.4-pound Whippet mix with a sweet nature and a playful heart. He arrived with his friend Chiquita, and like her, he can be a bit shy at first—but it doesn’t take long for his true personality to shine through. When held, Chucho is quiet and reserved, but the moment his paws hit the ground, he comes to life with the most adorable, high-speed zoomies you’ve ever seen. He’s fantastic with other dogs and does well with everyone once he’s had a little time to warm up. Chucho keeps a clean kennel, loves attention, and is highly motivated by food. He enjoys running around outside, playing with his dog friends, and living life with the carefree spirit of a “crazy kid” in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a small, gentle pup who will make you laugh daily and reward your patience with endless affection, Chucho is ready to race right into your heart. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
