My story

Meet Chiquita — The Shy-At-First Zoomie Queen Chiquita is a 1-year-old, 21.4-pound mixed breed pup with a sweet nature and a playful heart. She arrived with her friend Chucho, and like him, she can be a bit shy at first—but it doesn’t take long for her true personality to shine through. When held, Chiquita is quiet and reserved, but the moment her paws hit the ground, she comes to life with the most adorable, high-speed zoomies you’ve ever seen. She’s fantastic with other dogs and does well with everyone once she’s had a little time to warm up. Chiquita keeps a tidy kennel, loves attention, and is highly motivated by food. She enjoys running around outside, playing with her dog friends, and living life with the carefree spirit of a “crazy kid” in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a small, gentle pup who will make you laugh daily and reward your patience with endless affection, Chiquita is ready to race right into your heart. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
