Milo

My story

Milo is a 2½-year-old survivor with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After being dumped by his owners and ending up on the euthanasia list at our local shelter, Milo has overcome more than most dogs should ever have to. He’s had his tail amputated, completed heartworm treatment like a champ, and now he’s ready to start the next chapter — in a forever home of his own.   This sweet boy loves people and has plenty of playful energy, but he’ll need someone willing to guide him with basic training and manners. Milo can be a bit possessive of his toys (hey, when you’ve been through what he has, you learn to value the good stuff!), so he’d do best in a home without cats and with owners who can set gentle but firm boundaries.   If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited companion who will greet every day with enthusiasm, Milo is your guy.
