My story

Say hello to Bentley, a 13-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality and a lifetime of stories to tell. Recently surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him, Bentley is looking for a quiet retirement home where he can enjoy his golden years in peace. Bentley is housebroken and even knows how to use a doggie door—he’s got the basics down. He gets along with other small dogs and would do best in a calm, low-traffic home without young kids. Older, dog-savvy children who respect his space could be a good fit. Like many seniors, Bentley knows what he likes... and what he doesn’t. He tolerates minimal handling and prefers that hands stay away from his face. He may be a bit of a grump at times, but that just adds to his charm—he’s earned the right to be a little particular! Bentley isn’t looking for a lap dog lifestyle—he’s more of a “keep me company but let me do my thing” kind of guy. If you have a soft spot for senior pups and believe every dog deserves love and comfort in their final chapters, Bentley might just be the companion you’ve been waiting for. 🛋️ Quiet home.
