What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.A volunteer writes:After meeting her housemate, the wonderful Mr Boombastic, I had to meet Mr Lover Lover. Believe it or not, they are two dames who might change names in a few days. We do not know anything about them except that their owner, unfortunately passed away... Mr Lover Lover is blind or very visually impaired but although her kennel is not a familiar place, she seems to get around OK. She is a quiet senior who does not appear at all scared as I open her den. I speak to her in a low and gentle voice and she exits her safe place partially, then goes back and comes out again through her door. Mr Lover Lover is super sweet, enjoys petting, leans into pets and purrs(see her video). She seems very comfortable with me although I know that she was a bit nervous upon arrival. Mr Lover Lover and friend Mr Boombastic are lovely seniors who seem to have been loved and well cared for by their former owner. A cage is not a place, no, not at all for aging cats and we are hoping that soon enough, before their hopes dry up or a cold sets in, a great adopter, one who loves seniors and knows how to care for them, will come around and offer the sweet pair a home sweet home.
