My story

Meet SAWYER! Sawyer is a cute black-and-white tuxedo male teenager kitten with soft, medium-length fur. Sawyer’s curious spirit shines when he’s exploring or playing with toys, and he absolutely loves romping around with his siblings. Sawyer enjoys being near people and purrs when petted. Sawyer and his siblings were rescued as kittens after a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found them and their mother living in a local park. Sawyer has come a long way in his foster home and is gaining confidence every day. A little shy, he would thrive in a quiet home with a forever family who encourages him to warm up at his own pace and helps overcome his initial tendency to hide. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle kitty with a soft heart and playful spark, Sawyer may be your perfect match! Sawyer would love to go home with one of his siblings, MAPLE or TIMBER.   SAWYER has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet SAWYER in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 (320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
