My story

Hi, I’m Epic - part goofball, part cuddle bug, and part professional outdoorsman. I’m about 2 years old (give or take a little), but my heart is 100% puppy. As the story goes, I was found skinny in someone’s backyard - but now I’m healthy, happy, and working on bulking up. I’m fully potty trained and am currently learning to love my crate so I can practice personal space manners. I might think I’m lap-sized… so I may “accidentally” try to climb on you if I need attention or a potty break. I sleep throughout the night and will happily sleep in if you let me - but the moment I’m up, I’m ready to explore the outdoors, sniff every corner, and say hi to every human I meet. I’m still learning about toys but I love tug-o-war, brain games, and a good old tennis ball, but don’t expect me to retrieve. I’m not one of those dogs. Food is one of my favorite things in the world, (expect of course my foster Mom), so with some more training she thinks I’ll be a quick learner. Right now though, I have wiggly enthusiasm and will have to be safe around little humans.  If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate buddy who will keep you company - I’m your guy. Notes from my foster mom: Personality & Characteristics: My foster dog is not tested with kids or cats, but gets along with some dogs. My foster dog is: house trained, low shed, quiet 3 Keywords for your pup: loyal, outdoorsman, food-motivated Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): solid 5. knows when it's play time and when it's chill time Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: quiet but will whine/bark for a little in the crate Walking Manners: not perfect but good. doesn't pull unless he sees a dog - really just wants to play with them  Appetite: extremely food-motivated Favorite Things: humans, being outside, food Commands/Tricks: sit, & working on down ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2486599##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Epic, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
