My story

Meet sweet Skibidi - we call her Penny :) She's a southern belle rescued from Georgia, but she's the perfect New York City dog! She's quiet and doesn't bark, well-behaved in restaurants and stores, and the crowds and loud noises don't bother her at all. She's 50 lbs, but perfectly content in a tiny apartment as long as she gets to cuddle with you.  Personality & Characteristics: Penny is a princess - she doesn't bark, but she "talks" with a whine when she's hungry or needs to go potty. She loves to cuddle and is happy playing by herself with her toys or a bone. She's very sweet and gentle with all kids and other dogs. My foster dog is good with: dogs, kids, and cats! She loves people and wants to say hi to every dog. My foster dog is: Penny is fully house-trained. I don't crate her, and she's never destroyed or gotten into anything in the house. She's a shedder, but nothing a quick vacuum can't fix. She's great in the bath and doesn't try to jump out. I've even taught her she needs to wipe her paws when we get home. 3 Keywords for your pup: happy, sweet, sassy Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): She's a 3 certified couch-potato in the house, loving to lounge on the couch or sit at my feet while I work, but outside she's ready to play! Outside, she's a 7 - great with long walks and a perfect companion to picnics, restaurants, and errands. Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet - I haven't heard her bark at all. She "talks" by whining when she needs to potty or is hungry.  Walking Manners: Penny pulls when she wants to say hi to other dogs, but is easily directed with a firm hand on the leash. She doesn't jump and isn't aggressive, just whining when she wants to play. She's perfect in crowds and around people. Appetite: Not food-motivated, loves a treat now and then during training, but usually doesn't finish her food and never begs. At a restaurants or while cooking, she just happily sits at my feet. Favorite Things: She loves bones, cuddly pillows, and blankets.  Commands/Tricks: She already knew sit coming into our care, and now we're working on stay and leave it. She's smart and a quick learner. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2487252##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Skibidi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
