My story

Meet Scruffy Duffy (currently going by Pip since he's such an adorable lil' pipsqueak!). The teeniest goofy little pup.  After only a month of so in the big city, his personality is already starting to come through - he's a little explorer, trotting around the apt to sniff each corner and look for toys and snacks.  He's a little goofball, always bopping around without a care in the world, exploring all corners of the apt, looking for his toys - then plopping down at the other end of the room and just staring at you, totally content.  But when you scoop him up he'll give you the most tender little face kisses with his teeny tongue.   He's been doing great with wee pads and is just starting to learn how to go outside (had our first outdoor pee the other day!).  He also does well at responding to "sit" and "no".  He sleeps well through the night and is working on separation anxiety but already improving.  Pip would love to come be part of your family! Personality & Characteristics: My foster dog is good with: good with his brother dog and dogs on the sidewalk; good with kids, hasn't met any cats yetMy foster dog is: nearly crate trained; just starting to learn to use the bathroom outside but uses wee pads inside 90% of the time  3 Keywords for your pup: silly, adventurous, sweetEnergy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 6 (loves to play but will also lay down after a bit and chill with a toy or to nap)Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Generally pretty quiet, but still working on separation anxiety since he's still a baby :)Walking Manners: Doing great so far, only on his first week on a leash!Appetite: Strong! Loves to eat and very food motivatedFavorite Things: exploring, nibbling on toys, playing with his brotherCommands/Tricks: already making progress with sit! can tell he's a smartie pants ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2443380##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scruffy Duffy's (Pip), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
