My story

Hi, I'm Cannon! I'm an adult orange tabby boy with a little bit of white on my chin and chest and paws! I know we orange boys have a reputation for being wild and crazy, but I'm here to say that not all of us are like that; I'm a little shy, but calm. I like to be pet, especially on my head, but you need to go slow and easy with me at first, because being here at the shelter is scary! I really hope my furever family finds me soon so I can go to my furever home.     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    August 9, 2025, 8:56 pm
