My story

Hey! My name is Amaretto! I'm a black and white girl kitten who is almost 3 months old! I'm sharing a cage with my friend Ontario; the best way to tell us apart is that I have less white on me, and my nose is black. I'm a little shy at first, but if you pick me up and hold me close, I will be happy for you to pet me! Also, if you're looking for a playful girl kitty, I'm all about that! I love spring toys and wand toys and little mice...all kinds of toys, really. I would love to get adopted with my friend, but we are also okay being separated. So come to the shelter and play with me soon!    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    August 1, 2025, 8:12 pm
