Hannah ACCT-A-228355 is an 8-month-old female who was brought in by Animal Protection Officers after being found tied up and abandoned in a park, along with two other dogs, Megatron and Stormana, as strays on 8/9. Hannah was loose and wiggly in her kennel, no issues coming in and out of kennel she was easy to leash and walked right out. 8/13 Per Overnight foster: Hannah is just simply the best all around. She is equal parts snuggly, sweet, and playful. She has great recall and knows sit and lay - she might also know shake, she tried a few times but didn’t quite get it. We kept her overnight and she slept in bed with us all night and had no accidents; she knew to go to the door to go to the bathroom! She puts all of her trust into you and will frequently look back to make sure you’re with her when she’s on a walk, and will be sure to follow you to every room! She had happy tail wags when we passed other dogs on a walk, and when we came across an outdoor cat she walked right by without any reaction. From my experience, I think Hannah is the perfect dog for a home with kids and would likely do well with resident animals. Anyone who adopts her will be so lucky! 8/11 playgroup notes: Hannah at the fence was steerable, loose and wiggly. Middle tail wagging, ears back, soft pants, soft eyes, loose and wiggly body. her and Megatron connected his tail went up to middle, ears back loose trot as they ran together. 8/10 Per volunteer: Kennel presentation: was front of her kennel fear/stress barking at me and backing away. I got low and she felt more comfortable the lower I got. As I got low she relaxed her body, gave me small tail wags and soft eyes. I offered her treats and she took them gently. After some time I tried leashing her which she allowed me to do with no issues.Leash skills: hannah walks well on leash with minimal pulling, she’s very handler oriented and will stay by their side.Sociability: Outside Hannah was much more relaxed. Loose body, mid tail wags, soft eyes. Allowed all handling and would jump in my lap for pets. She did see a male volunteer walk by and she did begin to bark at him out of fear. She was able to be redirected easily. She showed off her tricks as she knows sit and sat patiently when asked. The more we spent time together the more relaxed she became.Returning to kennel: returning to kennel, I had no issues right into her kennel and allowed to clip method. 8/9 during initial intake exam it was noted that hannah was BAR, friendly, little more nervous than her sibling. P did well with vaccines and micro chipping. 8/9 per staff: Very sweet and bonded to his sisters.
