My story

Meet Ruby! Ruby is a five-month-old domestic shorthair with a gentle, loving nature and a soft spot for being near her people. She came to us with her siblings after being found in a box near a construction site and has blossomed into a sweet, curious kitten. Ruby enjoys being in the same room as her humans, happily lounging nearby or watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. She loves gentle pets, face rubs, and scratches, and she warms up quickly to new people. While she will allow you to carry her, she prefers to keep her paws on the ground once she has had enough cuddling. Playtime is part of Ruby’s charm. Once she feels comfortable, she happily chases feather toys, bats at ribbons, and enjoys a good session on the scratching pad. She has a medium-to-high energy level and also appreciates quiet moments to relax. Ruby is well-mannered, easy to groom, and adapts well to calm environments. She would do well in a home with other cats and may be comfortable with dogs given a proper introduction. Her ideal home will offer her companionship, a peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of playtime. Ruby is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ruby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
