My story

Hamil is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a big personality to match. This smart, affectionate boy thrives on building strong bonds with his people and is eager to please. He’s looking for a home that understands his active and playful nature and can provide the daily exercise and enrichment he craves. ​ Hamil would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, run around, and get in some quality playtime. He’s got a great head start on his training—he’s already mastered “sit” and “down” and is working on his “off” command. He’s a fast learner with a lot of potential, especially when given the chance to show off his listening skills (which he loves to do, as it boosts his confidence!). Hamil gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playdates. He can be a bit enthusiastic during playtime, but it’s all in good fun—he’s just a big, happy puppy who’s excited to make friends! He’d do well with someone who can help guide him, providing both structure and patience as he continues to learn and grow.
