My story

Hello, my name is Alli. (Also known as Bibs) I am a female mitted tabby between 3 and 4 years old. I don’t know why I was put outside to fend for myself. I showed up on my human’s patio one night in early November a year and a half ago. I was freezing cold, hungry and thirsty. Human fed me. I was so grateful. I continued to live outside but the human fed me every time I came around. In July of 2024 human took me to the Vet. I am spayed, shots up to date and was treated for parasites, ear mites and fleas. I had none of these, but was treated preventably. I do not miss the outdoors, although I sometimes will sneak out and turn right back around to the safety of my pillow and dish! I am litter trained, do not scratch on furniture. I am affectionate with my human and do not mind other people. I am good with older children. I am NOT good with the two older cats in the home. They are old! I am alpha – I want to be the queen! I do not like dogs! They have been mean to me. My human thinks I need to be in a home with NO other pets. I purr loudly for my human and expect lots of pets ! I am vocal, especially in the morning! PLEASE give me a chance! I have gotten used to the indoors and safety of my pillow. I weigh 8.2 lbs. When I first arrived at my new home; I weighed 6.2 lbs. I am still not very big, but I am very healthy. Quirky things about me; I will take a little while to warm up to you. I have trust issues, but love big once I know I can trust you. I purr very loud; and I drool when I’m happy! I love sitting on the arm of the chair while you have your coffee especially in the morning. I am protective once I get to know you. I am smart, says my human! I had no problem with litter training and with not scratching on furniture. She says I’m one of the best kitties she’s owned! I love to play with toys and enjoy catnip. Put some on my scatching post—heaven! I really don’t like to be picked up, but I will jump up on your lap when I feel like it. It’s all about me! My Vet appointment June 10, 2025 was unremarkable. My Vet did prescribe gabapentin (one dose night before and one dose in morning before appointment.) My human put it in my squeeze up treat(which I love) right out of the tube. (its chicken flavored squeeze up- I’m fussy) Don’t put on plate, I don’t like that. I have a top open crate- I stayed in crate while vet checked me out. I felt safer. Human petted me the entire time- I did great! Alli has had a complete wellness exam, is microchipped, spayed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is updated on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.00 which includes a free wellness exam within 7 days of adoption. Alli is currently located in a foster home. Payment is either cash or check. Sorry, we do not do any out-of-state adoptions. ADOPTING A PET IS A LIFELONG COMMITMENT!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Alli, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
