My story

Pickles is a big, beautiful, silly dude! At 10 weeks old and 16 pounds, this goofball loves to lay in puddles and keep you smiling all day long with his silly antics and sweet nature.Pickles hasn’t started crate or potty training just yet, but he’s learning more and more every day. As he's adjusted to his new foster home, he's happiest when he's snuggled up next to someone (dog or human). He may get vocal if left alone, so he cannot live in homes with shared walls (no apartments/townhomes). Pickles loves all dogs and is so excited to play! He would do best in a home with a resident dog already to keep him company. He is very curious around cats and currently lives with a feline friend as well. He has been great with the kids he's met, including ages 2-16.He likes to play in the mud, play tug-o-war, and then take a nap on the cold floor when he's done. Overall though, he's a pretty low-energy pup and could do well with low exercise if given enough mental stimulation.Pickles is a happy pup who would love to be your personal shadow. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
