Toby

My story

This vivacious and spunky youngster is Toby, a German Shepherd pup surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/7. Toby weighs 41 pounds. He is indeed high spirited. He will bark at you to get your attention. Owner stated that he lived with and was OK with other dogs. Toby walks well on a leash and knows the sit command. He loves treats and takes him nicely. He is very playful and yet was not interested in toys. This lovable little charmer likes to be petted and stay close to a human friend. Next time around he hopes to be fostered or adopted by someone who will work with him as he navigates through all the puppy behavior stuff. He needs daily exercise, playtime, and manners training—just like any other young puppy. From the short time I spent with him doing his evaluation, I was very convinced he will make someone a devoted and loving companion. He is a wonderful pup! Come meet him.
