My story
Helena is a stunning young mama kitty who was taken in as a stray by a kind person and surrendered to our rescue with her kitten Hiccup. Helena is super-shy but is very slowly coming out of her shell in foster care. We are able to pet her; she just doesn't really enjoy it yet. She is learning to trust us. She and Hiccup are close and would love to find a loving home together. They would do fine with respectful children and with other cats. Their reaction to dogs has not been tested, but with a careful introduction to any resident pets, they should adjust fine. Helena will be fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and FIV/FeLV tested on August 20th and will be ready for adoption after that. Cats adopted from the rescue must remain as indoor pets only and must never be declawed. Please apply to adopt at packleadersrescue.com.
