My story

Fostered in Salem, WI Meet Macaroon!  Macaroon is a handsome black tri Aussie/German Shepherd mix, born on May 24, 2025. With his deep black coat, rich tan points, and bright white accents, Macaroon is a total stunner. His soulful eyes and sweet expression perfectly match his personality—this boy is loving, gentle, and full of potential. A mix of two intelligent and high-energy breeds, Macaroon is curious, playful, and eager to learn. But he’s also calm and affectionate, enjoying both adventure and quiet cuddle time. Macaroon’s life started off a bit rough—he and his littermates spent their first six weeks living under a crawlspace. Despite that, he’s blossomed into a friendly, resilient pup who gets along well with dogs, cats, and people. What Macaroon Needs: An active home: He’ll thrive with daily exercise, playtime, and mentally engaging activities. Patience and consistency: He’s still a young pup and learning how to navigate life in a loving home. Positive reinforcement training: Macaroon is smart and responsive, and he does best with gentle, reward-based training. Continued socialization: Regular exposure to new people, places, and situations will help him grow into a confident adult. Love and stability: After a tough start, Macaroon is ready for a life filled with affection, routine, and trust.
