My story

ADOPTION PENDING! Congratulations, Sugar! This little girl with the heart-shaped nose and little bob tail is Sugar! She came to AAC HHI from a local feeding/colony site where she showed up with the rest of her brothers and sisters looking for sanctuary. Out of the eight kittens, four are Manx. She is a Manx with what is called a “riser” tail. Sugar is ADORABLE and still a little shy and confused, but quickly settling into the luxury of indoor living. She has been getting socialized with other kittens (JoJo, Ollie and Skippy-her brother - all adoptable), humans of all ages and other adult cats. She is starting to relax, play and is just such a gentle, sweet soul. We are still learning about her, but we do know she has never shown any aggression and given a little time and safe place to lay her paws, she will come around beautifully. She is one of the more unique kittens we’ve had in the program and someone is going to be lucky to adopt her. Due to her tender age and rough start, Sugar would be best adopted with another kitten, or into a home with an existing feline-friendly cat or kitten. If you are interested in adopting Sugar, please fill out our required, easy online application, which can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/231967731104152 For the safety of our cats, home checks are also a requirement of adoption, but we make this as convenient and unobtrusive as possible.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sugar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
