Squirrel / Female / 7 Weeks / Husky Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Brampton Meet Squirrel – a spunky little sweetheart with a heart as big as her paws! Squirrel made the long journey from Attawapiskat, a remote Northern Ontario community where access to animal care is incredibly limited. Alongside her brother Gator (who’s recovering from an eye injury), Squirrel left behind a tough start to life in search of safety, love, and a forever family. And now? She’s more than ready to find it. This beautiful brindle pup is all things wonderful: Confident and curious – she loves exploring the world around her. Great with kids – she’s currently in foster with children of all ages and adores every one of them. Friendly with other dogs – playtime is her absolute favourite. Cat-approved – respectful and playful, she fits in just fine. Squirrel is the kind of pup who makes you smile just by being in the room. She’s playful and goofy, always ready to tumble into your lap after a round of zoomies. She loves to chase toys, cuddle up on the couch, and follow her people around like a shadow. She’s got that magical mix of adventure and affection, a dog who wants to run through the grass with you and then nap by your feet. Of course, she’s still a puppy, which means she’s in that delightful “baby shark” stage — teething and curious about everything. She’s working on crate training and housebreaking and is making great progress, but her future family will need to keep up the structure and patience to help her continue to thrive. Squirrel is resilient, loving, and oh-so-ready to leave her past behind and start a new life with a family that will treasure her forever.
