My story

Oscar / Neutered Male / 6 Years Old / 20lbs / Miniature Poodle / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: 13+ preferred / Location: Kitchener šŸ“ How’s this 🐾 Meet Oscar! 🐾 This sweet 6-year-old, 20lb mini poodle is ready to find his forever home! šŸ’› Oscar is the ultimate companion—he lives for snuggles, enjoys his daily walks, and loves playtime with his doggy friends. He’s a friendly, playful boy who gets along well with other dogs and even cats! Oscar would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. While he enjoys the company of other pups, he’d also be fine as the only dog—as long as he’s not left alone too much. Because of his past in a puppy mill, Oscar cannot be crated. It causes him anxiety and has damaged his teeth in the past. (Don’t worry—he’s had a full dental and is feeling much better now!) šŸ” His ideal home? Someone recently retired or working from home, with lots of time to give him the love and companionship he missed out on for so long. A quieter home with older kids (or no kids) would be best, as younger ones can be a bit much for his mellow personality. Oscar is doing great with his house training, especially when someone is home. He’s been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on his vaccines, and recently had a dental. He’s currently being fostered in Kitchener. šŸ’Œ If you’ve got room in your heart and home for this little guy, apply today! https://forms.gle/tTpyUz3qLhWyk6N56

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Oscar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
