My story

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.~ EVANIA ~ Only those seeking a truly dedicated, affectionate, cuddly companion need apply! When we went to rescue her, she was trembling and would flinch when we tried to touch her. She was withdrawn and clearly fearful. We don’t know what she endured, but it was undoubtedly dreadful. It left her with bloody lacerations all around her nose, mouth, and eyes. After a round of antibiotics and lots of TLC, her wounds healed. It is amazing! She looks bigger in pictures than the 40 lbs of precious that she is. &#226&#152&#186&#239&#184&#143 Once in her foster home, she sensed that she was safe, and promptly started showing signs of gratitude. It wasn’t long at all before she came out of her shell, and demonstrated her true nature as one of the most loyal and affectionate creatures you’ll ever meet! As for an adopter, she desires and deserves a person or family that has plenty of time to show her A LOT of Love and attention. When you sit, she wants to be on you, or right beside you. She is a “velcro dog”, and will follow you everywhere you go, waiting for pets and praise. She will do best with someone who is home most of the time. She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. She loooves to eat, and can be a tad greedy with food. Given the chance, she’ll swipe bites from other dog’s bowls, but is not the slightest bit aggressive about it. We estimate her to be 2-3 years old. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, negative for heartworms, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. On top of all her already amazing credentials, she is house trained. Foster does have a doggy door so she has access to outside at all hours, but usually waits for foster to accompany her. Located in Arkansas, but transport to New England is available. Adopter must be able to pick up, or arrange for someone to pick her up for them, at one of the following approximate times and locations.
