This handsome fellow is Bam Bam! He is a 1 yr old, 22lb, Chiweenie/Corgi mix (best guess?) that is such a wonderful dog for someone who wants a true companion! This sweet boy came to us when we did another rescue of dogs that belonged to an unhoused man that was letting them run loose on the streets. We got them to safety but knew of another dog that belonged to a neighbor who also allowed his dog to run loose, but at the time, the neighbor did not want to relinquish the dog. Fast forward a couple weeks and we were told that the owner would now give up the dog to us and we sent an independent rescuer we work with to get him. He went straight to our vet where he was examined, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is now in a foster home with other dogs and cats, but we can see he is a dog that would love to be your one and only. Bam was in a temporary foster home when we first rescued him and it was with a single guy in an apartment with no other dogs and he did so wonderfully! He loves the attention and aims to please. He is still learning to walk on leash with good manners, but he is a very quick learner! Bam Bam does well if you have to run an errand, but we would love him in a home where he has owners that are not gone long hours during the day. A home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal as he loves to play and run around. Bam Bam did not have the best life so we promised him we would find him a forever home that will love and cherish him as much as we do! Bam Bam is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Bam Bam's adoption feel is $550. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bam Bam, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
