My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Friendly guy who likes to play tug - Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time: "He's very curious and loved sniffing around the backyard, so somewhere he could explore and run around would be perfect for him. He also loves physical touch, giving kisses, and going on car rides! He was a great walker and never barked." - Knows sit, down, up, and spin and is very treat-motivated; can forget his manners a bit at times but he's very trainable so classes would be a lot of fun - Can pull on a leash sometimes - everything is just so exciting! - so a harness would be ideal for walking - Can be bouncy and forget to watch out for those around him, so he may do best in a home with more mature family members - Somewhat socially awkward with other dogs; may enjoy a dog friend but is a little unsure how to act (dog intro recommended) - We don't know his history with cats This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you're interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org.- May have allergies (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Grey Weight: 65 Age: 5yrs 10mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nash, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
