My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bonnie requires an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered to adopt from Best Friend Pet Adoption. The link to our application is  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC   Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a delightful, goofy pup with a heart full of love. She was around 7 months old in August. She’s still very much a curious puppy who’s always up for some playtime or a quick zoomie around the yard. Whether it’s chasing after pinecones, bugs, or even butterflies, she’s always entertaining herself in the most hilarious ways. After burning off some of that puppy energy, she’s quick to settle down for a nap and loves to come up for some attention or belly rubs when she’s ready to recharge. Bonnie is crate-trained and well on her way to being housebroken. She’s great with other dogs and would be fine as the only dog, as long as she gets plenty of attention and activities to keep her busy. Bonnie is friendly with everyone she meets but can be a bit shy at first. Once she warms up, though, you’ll have a loving companion who will want to be by your side. She’s also respectful of cats but will chase them if they run. She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to leash walking and will need a little guidance, but she’s a quick learner and very treat-motivated! Bonnie is also fairly quiet, though she’ll bark playfully during games and let you know when she wants to come back inside. While Bonnie would be happy with a yard to run around in, she could also live in an apartment, as long as she gets her daily playtime and walks to burn off that youthful energy. She’s a puppy at heart and loves to explore, so some interactive playtime each day is essential for keeping her content. Bonnie has learned basic commands like “sit,” “go lay down,” “inside,” “outside,” and “off,” and she’s working on perfecting “come.” She’s responsive to verbal corrections and, above all, wants to please. Her sweet nature and playful spirit make her a fantastic addition to any home, whether it’s a busy household with kids or an active adult who wants a loyal companion for walks and play. If you’re looking for a loving, active, and goofy pup who will fill your life with laughter and affection, Bonnie is the one for you! She’s ready to find her forever home, and we know she’ll bring joy to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Come meet Bonnie today—she’s sure to steal your heart with her sweetness!  Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING BONNIE?
