Olive

My story

Meet Olive, a resilient cat who was discovered in the basement of an abandoned house, nursing her kittens. She gained access to this space through a broken window. Tragically, Olive suffered from a severe wound on her chest, precisely where her kittens nursed, suggesting that this must have been an excruciating experience for her. We promptly took her to the veterinarian, where her wound was cleaned and bandaged. For several weeks, Olive required bandage changes every three days. During her recovery, she was unable to nurse her kittens, which led to their placement with a foster who had a nursing mother. Born on October 1, 2024, Olive is a striking medium-haired cat who has endured so much in her short life. Fortunately, she has now fully healed and is ready to find her forever home. Olive is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She would thrive best in a household with older children and would prefer a home without dogs. Please consider giving Olive the loving forever home she deserves. She is spayed, has age appropriate vaccinations, parasite treated, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV and micro chipped. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ: 1) I do home visits for all the cats/kittens for adoption. I am not currently able to adopt to anyone living more than 1 hour outside of Rochester, NY. 2) I require a vet reference and will contact them. 3) Most of the cats in my care come from the streets and have had a bad start in life. They usually would do best in a home with older children and NO dogs. 4) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms. 5) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
