My story

I’m Maple, your new best friend! *waves paw* I’m a pretty girl, and my beautiful brown and tan coat will make you fall in love at first sight. As an adorable and playful young pup, I’m always up for an adventure. I can be a little shy at first in new situations, but I love meeting new people and dogs, and I’m sure I’ll get along with everyone in your household, and neighborhood, and anywhere you take me! My favorite activities include chasing my tail, napping in the sun, splashing in water, and of course, playing with my favorite toys. I would love to have another dog at home to play with! I’m smart, too; and I’m always up for learning new tricks and commands. I’m getting used to leash walking and sleeping in my crate, for instance. I’m also a natural-born cuddler, so I’m always ready for a snuggle session. I am young and I am ready to make your life complete! So who’s ready to give this girl her furever home? ***PLEASE NOTE*** This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit. *** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
