How this pet arrived: Simba was brought in by their previous owner on July 30, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Simba! Simba might share a name with a lion, but he's more into quiet lounging than loud roaring. Think less circle of life, more circle of cozy blankets. He's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace-and maybe one day, claim the comfiest chair as his throne. This handsome guy would likely thrive with a friendly, easygoing cat companion-someone to help him feel more at ease and show him the ropes. Royal friendships take time, so slow introductions are key. He's not here for drama, just a good nap buddy and the occasional head bump. Simba can be nervous in new environments and prefers to observe from the shadows before deciding if the vibe is right. He'll need his own space to start-ideally a quiet room with plenty of cozy hiding spots where he can watch from a distance and decide when he's ready to come out and explore. Once he feels safe, he may wander out for a quiet check-in or accept a few royal chin scritches-on his schedule, of course. He's not high-maintenance, but he is particular. If there are kids in the home, they should be old enough to respect boundaries-this king prefers quiet audiences. He's not dramatic, just discerning. Simba has had some litter box issues, so he'll need a clean, low-stress setup with multiple boxes and a watchful eye on what works best for him.
