My story

How this pet arrived: Kombu was brought in by their previous owner on July 16, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Say Hello to Kombu! Kombu's the kind of dog who's always up for whatever's next. Car ride? He's already in the passenger seat. New trail? He'll lead the way. Chill day around the house? He's cool with that too-as long as he's with his people. He's got an adventurous spirit and a friendly, curious personality. Kombu enjoys being part of the action. He's done well with respectful kids and would fit right in with someone who likes to stay active and doesn't mind a little daily chaos (the fun kind). Now, every adventurer has their quirks-and Kombu's is a deep, unapologetic love of socks. If it's soft and unattended, it might become a snack. You'll want to keep your gear zipped up and out of reach. Health-wise, Kombu has a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which means he needs enzyme supplements added to his food. No big deal once you've got the routine down. He's also being checked for some mild anemia, possibly related to GI irritation from treatment. He's got follow-up tests scheduled for 8/7 and 8/14. Come meet Kombu, he's ready to hit the road, the trail, or the couch-wherever the day takes you. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 35.2 Age: 1yrs 9mths 0wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kombu, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
