Finnegan

My story

Finnegan’s a 4yo 10lb chi mix. He’s dog, cat and kid friendly but may need slow introductions. He’s house, pee pad and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He likes to play with toys, other dogs and people, especially to get head scratches. He’s friendly, cuddly and affectionate but can be shy and nervous at first until he warms up. Finnegan’s foster requires a home with patient, calm people who will give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Finnegan as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home to decompress with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Finnegan’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
