My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Schnix and his litter mates came from an area where people had been poisoning and shooting cats and kittens. But that doesn't get his Spirit down! He absolutely loves everybody that he meets and is extremely social and outgoing. He's very curious about whatever you're doing and has to be involved. He absolutely loves other cats right from the start and wants to be there friend right away. He loves toys and playing! He is perpetually happy and always purring! Schnix has not been around dogs or children but based on his personality he would probably be just fine with cat friendly dogs and polite children. Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
