My story

Hi there! My name is Blaze, and I’m a 3-year-old male pittie mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for tennis balls!I came to the Adams County SPCA with my `dad`, Hammy, who’s about 10 years old. I don`t know if he is my real dad or not but he is the one that has always been there for me. We are waiting to hear back from the `Maury show` to see if we can get a DNA test. Our owner brought us to a shelter for help, but they couldn’t take us, so he drove us all the way to Adams County and left us in the Police drop-off pens late at night. The staff later found out he was going to jail the next day and couldn’t care for us anymore. We know he was trying to do the right thing, but we wish he had planned ahead so we wouldn’t be left in such a scary situation.Unfortunately, we can’t tell the staff here much about our past, what we like, what we don’t, but they’ve taken great care of us and are getting to know us better every day. I’ve already made it clear that I LOVE playing with tennis balls! I’m also housebroken, get along well with other dogs (but not cats), and have a mellow, easygoing personality.If you think I might be the one for you, please submit an application at the link below.
