Penny

My story

This sweet girl is Penny!  She is about 6-years-old and is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix.  Penny came to E.A.R.S. with a broken pelvis after being hit by a car.  But Penny is a fighter with a strong spirit.  After spending a few months on “bed rest” and a getting a lot of love from everyone at E.A.R.S., Penny was given the “thumps-up” to start going on walks.  She was a little hesitant at first, but now loves them!  Penny also enjoys cuddling with the volunteers and can often been seen napping in a lap.  While Penny has a more recovery time to go, she has been cleared to find her fur-ever home.  Penny does prefer a quieter environment and needs to be handled gently.  For these reasons, Penny would do best in a home with older kids.  Penny would make a wonderful companion.
