My story

Meet Bellina! Affectionately known as Bell, this 8-month-old, 7-pound poodle is as tiny as she is adorable. Bellina came to us from an Amish puppy mill after she was no longer considered for breeding or sale. Despite her rough start, she’s blossoming into a curious and playful pup. Bell is still discovering the world around her and needs a home that can provide the structure, patience, and consistency every young dog deserves. She’s made impressive progress with potty training and rarely has accidents. She’s even picked up on the routine of going outside with the adult dogs in her foster home. Though still shy, Bell is slowly learning to trust people and enjoy the simple pleasures of being a dog—like zooming around the yard and playing with toys. She’s comfortable in her puppy pen but can be quite vocal (surprisingly loud for her size!) when someone enters the room. Bellina is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
