My story

Meet Jessica Fletcher, a five-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel weighing around 20 pounds. She was named after the first TV show she ever watched and is now ready to write a new chapter of her life—one filled with love, safety, and rest. Jessica was rescued from an Amish puppy mill where she was used for breeding over and over again. Despite her past, she is remarkably sweet and, for a former mill dog, impressively outgoing. She does wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home, getting along with everyone from the tiniest pup to the largest companion. While she doesn’t necessarily need a doggie friend in her adoptive home, she would love alternative ways to stay social, such as neighborhood walks, patio outings, or playdates with friendly pups. Jessica is currently working on both her leash and potty training, which often go hand in hand for dogs learning how to live in a home for the first time. She’s looking for a family who will be patient and kind as she continues to adjust to this new world, and who will help her discover what it truly means to be loved. Jessica Fletcher is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
