My story

Sierra is a beautiful 1-year-old border collie mix with a heart as big as her energy level! Originally found as a stray, the kind family who took her in tried for months to find her a forever home before entrusting her to us. Now, Sierra is hoping her perfect match is just around the corner. She’s a very sweet and independent girl who loves spending time outdoors—a securely fenced yard is a must for this adventurous spirit. She thrives on activity and would do best in a home that can provide consistent exercise and mental stimulation. Sierra isn’t housetrained yet, but she’s a quick learner and already knows commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “come on.” She hasn’t shown any signs of aggression, though she does seem protective of her people, which is common in her breed mix. While she’s affectionate and loyal, Sierra isn’t a big cuddle bug—she prefers companionship and play over snuggling. She's a wonderful match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and appreciates a smart, independent dog with a loving heart. Sierra currently weighs about 57lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 07/23/2024), and her adoption fee is $315. Sierra has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
