My story

Donkey is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Scroll through his pictures to see his cute videos! Meet our funny, goofy, labby-boy Donkey (which must be said in a Scottish accent a la Shrek!). Donkey comes to us from Evanston Animal Shelter, where he was brought with two other dogs after being found as strays. Donkey loves everyone and everything he has met so far. We love his derpy face and sight overbite- his looks really reflect his silly personality! He is a bit clumsy, loving, outgoing and happy energy you would expect from a young lab mix. Oh, and he loves the water! He loved meeting all the dogs in playgroup, but what he was really excited about was the baby pool, which he joyfully splashed around in and jumped in and out of like a kid having the best time. (His videos really show his personality better than his pictures, so we hope you will take a look!) Donkey is a great dog, and e is going to make a wonderful companion. We are excited to be a part of his journey! Donkey’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
