My story

Meet Duke! Say hello to Duke, a dashing 1.5-year-old intact male Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a nose for treats! This sweet, handsome boy came to us through no fault of his own—his previous owner could no longer care for him. Now, Duke is patiently waiting for a forever home where he can thrive. Duke already knows how to sit, and he’s a big fan of treats (they’re the way to his heart!). He’s also working hard on his leash skills and making fantastic progress every day. While he can be a little shy at first, Duke warms up quickly with gentle encouragement and kindness. He gets along well with other dogs at the shelter and would do well in a home where he can continue to gain confidence and feel safe. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equal parts sweetness and potential, Duke might just be your perfect match. Duke weighs 43 lbs and did wonderfully during his exam where he has received the Bordetella and parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, been dewormed, and microchipped. Our adoptions are $100 cash/local check only. Our visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331.
