My story

Meet Rudy A Gentle Giant who is Looking for His Forever Home! This handsome midnight black gentleman was found wandering Greenwood Cemetery and likely once had a loving home. While initially shy and cautious, Rudy has blossomed into an absolute sweetheart who lives for pets and cuddles. While Rudy might start out a bit shy and scared in new environments, after spending quality bonding time in his loving foster home, this big beautiful boy has blossomed into a total purr machine and champion biscuit maker who melts at the first gentle touch. There's something incredibly rewarding about earning his trust - he responds to kindness with such grateful affection that he'll steal your heart completely. Rudy craves human attention and would thrive as someone's devoted companion. He has done well as a solo cat with his foster, but with the slow and thoughtful introductions, he may also do well with other cats in the home.  It is important to note that while Rudy has become a total mush with his foster parents, he has been shown to get overstimulated at times when he is getting too much affection and attention. It will be important for his forever home to recognize when hes ready to have his alone time and to be comfortable meeting him where he is at This gentle giant is ready to leave his past behind and become someone's loyal, loving shadow. Rudy isn't just looking for a home - he's looking for his family Vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. FeLV / FIV negative, neutered, and microchipped.
