He struggles with anxiety and can be reactive in certain situations, especially around unfamiliar people or when guarding food/toys. Because of this, Champ needs a low-stress environment with adults only -- no young children or cats. He MIGHT do well with another calm, well-mannered dog, as long as he doesn't feel threatened.Champ thrives with structure and consistency. He needs someone who understands dog behavior and is willing to work with him at his pace. He is on a special, chicken-free diet, and may occasionally require allergy medication. For these reasons, a financially stable home is important to ensure his ongoing care.
